Volvo S60 BTCS: Doublé aux 25h fun cup
En prologue aux 25h fun cup 2010 se courraient ce weekend a Spa-Francorchamps 2 courses de 60 minutes en BTCS, catégorie ou notre Volvo S60 sponsorisée par Cross-Roads s’aligne pour la première saison.
Vendredi, la première bonns nouvelle tombait, record du tour avec 2:26.770 pour la Volvo S60 pilotée par Vincent Radermecker! La Volvo était donc en pole position pour la première course! Malgré la chaleur la Volvo S60 se hisse a la 3eme place sur la grille pour la 2eme course. Cela promettait déja une super course samedi.
C’est Eric van de Poele qui est au volant de la Volvo S60 pour le départ de la première course. Il part en pole et ne se fait pas rejoindre. Pendant les 4 premiers tours, Koen Wauters tente de rester dans son sillage, mais il part a la faute dans le raidillon. Avec plus de 30 secondes d’avance, l’équipe de Greenspeed n’ Technology gère parfaitement la course et la Volvo S60 s’envole pour une première victoire!
Dans la 2eme course de la journée, la Volvo S60 n’est pas inquietée par le carambolage au départ, mais il faut patienter près de 20 minutes derrière le safety car. A la rentrée aux stands, Vincent Radermecker cède le volant a Eric van de Poele, la Volvo S60 est alors 2eme. Eric van de Poele passe en tete, il roule plus vite que Christian Kelders, et la volvo s’envole vers la 2eme victoire de la journée!

Volvo S60 BTCS 2nd place for the Spa 12h.
The Volvo S60 BTCS sponsored by cross-roads managed an incredible 2nd place at the Spa-Francorchamps 12h race last weekend!
The Volvo S60, driven par Vincent Radermecker, Eric van de Poele and Rob Huff was still leading the race 5 minutes before the end. This is a very promising result for the team. The talent of the pilots, the professionalism of the team and the reliability of the car make us think that we are very close from the first win for this car.
The good race results after 3 and 6 hours (1st and 2nd) are great for the overall results. We are looking forward to the publication of theses results by the race organization.
